Meet your coach: 

Hi there! I am your coach, Skyler McCaughan and I am thrilled you’re here!

I have been an athlete since I could walk and come from a long line of coaches in my family. I was a successful multi-sport athlete throughout high school and went on to play volleyball at the Division I collegiate level for four years. There, I was introduced to organized mental training my and it changed the trajectory of my volleyball career and life.

Through my coaching experiences, I have noticed how the pressures and expectations of younger athletes have grown with extra traveling teams, clubs, and off-season training. With all of these extras in training physically, how are we assisting athletes in their growth mentally?

I know through my studies and personal experiences that an athlete's body can only go as far as his or her mind can. Without consistent training of our mindset - or 'mental game' - we can't expect much improvement on the court, field, or whatever it may be, until a burnout or mental breakdown may occur. When an athlete is feeling overwhelmed, lacking confidence, or ready to raise their game to the next level and reach their full potential, then mental training can help.

During my training programs, we will work together to help your athlete tap into the under-lying causes of under-performance and train their mental game to improve overall performance and well-being.

2-6 month 1-1 training with Coach Skyler. For the individual athlete who is wanting to level-up their game. Individual coaching is the most in-depth way for athletes to train the mental game at the highest and most personalized level.

Mental training workshops and packages for high school, college and club teams. Options range from a one-time workshop to working directly with Coach Skyler throughout your season.
